Immersive Experiential Launch Party: New Dating App

In 2017 Chappy burst onto the dating scene, as a new gay dating app with a fresh twist.

To celebrate the launch my team created an experiential party for a 200 influential figures from the media, celebrity scene, and key society names.

We took on an empty industrial space in the heart of Soho and with the help of my event producer, branded the whole space into an incredible Chappy themed space. From the cocktail menus to the window vinyls, every detail was meticulously themed around the Chappy branding.

The nights events included a DJ perfomance from celeb favourite Jodie Harsh and a live performance from rising star singer Kate Stewart. To highlight the features of the dating app, we installed vertical LCD screens around the venue with animations showing the functionality of the app. I also devised an immersive photobooth installation themed around a tongue-in-cheek protest complete with placards for guests hold up, to encourage sharable content that was fully Chappy branded.

Celebrity guests included Thom Evans, Ella Eyre, MNEK, Gok Wan, Ollie Locke, Lottie Moss, Riyadh Khalaf and more.
