Feature Launch Campaign: Badoo Live
Badoo, the world’s most downloaded dating app, was the first dating service to feature live video streaming.
I led this project, devising the concept, writing storyboards, hiring a video agency and overseeing casting, shoots and budgets.
The goal was to show the world how live streaming could make dating so much more engaging than swiping on static photos. Together with video agency Pink Banana, we brought the concept to life by capturing vibrant moments with a diverse cast, telling a fun story of two singles meeting for a park date. The on-screen animations and vertical video framing tie in real-world action into the UX of the the Badoo Live feature.
The video was distributed as part of a 360 campaign, which included influencer campaigns, Out of Home placements, and PR push.
